2 million wheat cents for sale on ebay

    It would be nice to own, but $60 is really steep imo for 300+ wheats, even if they are truly unsearched and have some silver added.

    If they are "unsearched" how does the seller know and guarantee that they are wheat cents.

    that's what i was thinking too. do you know how they say i have never searched these? well, they are telling the truth but someone else probaly searched for them. ;)

    Exactly what I've been telling people for years. Now I wonder how much I could get from a metal recycler for all that.

    About half to 3/4 as much as you could if you just spent them. That's assuming of course that you could find a recycler who would take them at all. There have been several stories published in past few weeks about the issue - it seems that most people who work at the scrap yards and recycle plants think it's illegal to melt US coinage, so they won't even take them off your hands - at any price.
