This 1984-W $10 Gold Olympic commemorative caught my eye on eBay. I always like looking at these coins because it's my birth year. Anyways, the slab shows it as graded MS-69 but the close up pics look proof. Is this coin proof-like? I checked the certification and it does show it as MS-69, but the description says both proof and MS. I guess it was taken with just the right kind of lighting. Here is the auction: http://www.ebay.com/itm/1984-w-Olym...65?pt=Coins_US_Individual&hash=item3cce99fd21
Haha! You know what he did??? He "borrowed" pics from someone else's auction of a proof coin since his pics came out fuzzy. Trust me... you buy that, you'll get the MS69 coin in the first pic.
The coin holder has the proper ID number for the MS version, not the proof. So it is either a MS-69 or if proofs are less expensive at the 69 level ( should be more 69 proofs than MS-69 ), maybe a substituted coin. Probably confused seller.
