    ...these selling on eBay for upwards of $85 when there are still over 4900 sets available from BEP at $49.95?

    It looks like a cool set to me, although I haven't bought one yet. ( And don't tell anyone, but I know where I can get a set for $49.00 :D )

    If they were released in numerical order, maybe all of the lower and special (20122012, 20122102, 20121862 etc.) serials are gone and the ebay buyers are hunting for them?

    I guess that could be a reason for paying more than the BEP price - low , fancy, repeater, etc. That set offered at $85 wasn't anything special though... but it didn't sell, either.
