Finally some time off of work and I have to opportunity to put up a few pictures of my humble collection sides. I dont plan on making these part of my FINAL collection (currently comprised of a single PF-66 1942 Liberty Walking, NGC/CAC) though I do have a thing for the 2 Buffaloes included in this pic set. Not sure if they are worth sending for grading. Any body have any thoughts on what the 1913 Type 1 and the 1937-S may grade out at?
Bought this 79-S PF-66 HVY Cameo (Type II) 5.5 Steps for $6. Good deal I guess... BUT I feel like ANACS kind of screwed me because I swear there are at least 5-11/16 Steps (I cant believe they shorted me a whole 3/16 of one step... GEEZ!). JK... In all honesty though why are they assigning Step designations to Proof coins? Anyone know?
Ya I have a "couple" of BU rolls to look through. Those damn 98, 99, and 00 Wide AM sure are elusive. Though I did pull this 01 Extra Thick "LIBERTY" out of some pocket change.
Do you really think so? I'm not up on the Buff's, but is that some wear on his hump and butt or is it just the lighting or evidence of a weak strike. Chris
looks like there is a break in the luster which would rule out the fact that its just a weak strike. I would venture to guess Au.
