Beautiful introduction to this thread, Bing ... you always do such a fine job of gathering info and photos for the rulers (well done once again!!) :high5: Bing ... man, my heading was pounding this morning (however, other than San Fran losing the actual football game, last night's Super Bowl activities were a total success => everybody got hammered and had a great time => there was plenty of chow, including: chili, buffalo wings, deep fried shrimp, a huge seafood chowder, buns, chips, desserts, etc ... and most importantly => my wife was still talking to me when we woke-up this morning!! ... I consider this year's annual stevex6 Super Bowl party "a total overall success!!")
Sounds like a great party and you made it through it. Quiet night here, but decent second half game. Glad you like the intro. You should start a thread about Yertle.
Yah, I might start a thread of my own later ... but my wife and I both took a "scheduled" vacation day today, so I think that I'm gonna spend a bit more time lounging in the sack with my gal (but again, maybe a bit later-on I'll try to think-up a coin thread of my own ... and yes, maybe it'll be turtle coins?) Have a great day!! => let's see some more Plautilla coins!!!
Plautilla..205...AD.. Ob. Plautilla head right.. Rev. Plautilla and Caracalla clasped hands facing.. 18mm x 3.2g.. jw, steve, Matt, very nice coins, with a sad story...:smile
Nice coins. Plautilla looks like she was an attractive girl on all these coins. I know Caracalla was a monster, but what did he find so distasteful in Plautilla I wonder?
