I was browsing the completed listings on eBay for 1971-1979-S clad Kennedy sets(8 coins due to the bicentennial ) and saw a BIN from good 'ol Dave for $19.95+ $3.95 shipping. Then I kept scrolling down and was amazed at what people were paying at auction for the same exact clad set from good 'ol Dave. Up to $56.00!!! (Am I missing something here?) I couldn't help but laugh.

Although I did see a few that got a good deal at auction. As low as $8.06. I guess some people are willing to pay more just to say "I WIN"

I've scratched my head at those too. Dave's BINS for those series are always reasonable, and it amazes me that people don't bother doing even a few minutes of market research to determine whether they may be bidding too high or not. Bidiots is right.

And he doesn't hype anything either. He's a straight-up dealer, at least from my experience. But hey, if somebody insisted on throwing money at me, I'd probably take it too.

Was the set that sold for $56 the first or second to be sold? It makes a difference, and further down the line the bidding usually tapers off.

What do you mean by first or second? He seems to have an endless supply of Kennedy's. He's always got a dozen of these runs up for auction at any given time.
