Big thanks to Stacks & Bowers who were kind enough to mail me all three auction catalogs for their recent NYC sale of the Cardinal Collection, Rarities Night, and the Americana Sale. To any budding numismatists I highly suggest requesting theseccatalogs, as they are both full of beautiful pictures but priceless information and provenance. Plus S&B was kind enough to send me all 3 catalogs at no cost (they even paid the $10.35 shipping cost, these puppies are heavy). FYI: they will happily send you your first catalogs for free, but to receive all the catalogs for all the year's auctions is something like $400. Anyway, I put the catalogs in a binder and printed off the lot sale's prices for future reference. The pdf file showing pirces paid for the various lot#(s) can be found on Stacksbowers.com

You can also go to the SB website and see the auction lots and prices realized without receiving the catalogs.
