Ancient Coin ID help please

    Can someone help me with where this coin is from? I thought Roman Republic but I'm not having any luck finding it. I also thought perhaps the reverse design is a seated figure but it is pretty much gone so it could be anything. About 28mm & 13.8g. Thank you!

    that's it, if you zoom in you can make out the wings of the sphinx.
