Stupid Loomis boxes, I would have had 100oz if they were Garda...

 

This is my first month of hunting. I'm satisfied with the totals and I have learned alot in the past month. Hoping to increase from here. I've got a lot of the tellers loving me right now also, so maybe they will have me some bonus coins stashed away in February.

Total halves searched: $2,887.00
Results - 11 40%, 3 proofs

Total dimes searched: $1,070.00
Results - 1 Merc, 2 Roosies

Total nickels searched: $1,480.00
Results - 21 Wars, 7 Buffs, 3 proofs

Total Oz. of Silver- 2.54oz

Goal for the year is 300 silver coins. I'm at 35 silvers so far. Can't slow down now tho!

Grand total of a measly .7636 troy oz of silver.

 

I don't think I go through that many halves in a year!

I have to search over $2000 to mine an ounce of silver, I like FTB number of $850 or so to find an ounce.

Ironically, I took quite a few days off, but managed grand total #'s just slightly above last month. Took a major hit/loss in the halves department. Definitely taking time off next Friday to reflect on Dad, then major brainstorming toward end of Feb about whether to keep hunting or not.

 

My results are terrible, but I didn't really get to look through much.

Dime - $360 - 1 Roosevelt
Nickels - $542 - 1 Liberty, 2 Buffalo and 6 War
Quarters - $100 - nothing
Halves - $150 - Nothing

$1,152 searched for .41 Troy oz silver. Not impressive at all. Am going to try an up my volume this month.

 

Our results for Halves has really tapered off so we switched to dimes and nickels for the last 2 months. Januarys results are not as good as past months but we got tired of skunk after skunk on halves. I hope they will pick back up in February. I plan on two boxes of nickels and a box of bimes on Mon, Wed, and Friday. We will continue to do a box of halves on Tuesday and Thursday until we see better results.

A pretty good month I guess.

Possible 1983 95 % copper penny D, Unique needs to be verified for not fake, if weight is right.

so yeah out of 5 penny rolls, and 2 dime rolls, and 1 nickel roll. Not bad results.
