The last coin in the Canadian Wildlife Series was announced earlier today. I was excited to see it is a wood bison, what are your thoughts on the design? More details here: http://www.blog.providentmetals.com/canadian-wildlife-series/2013-canadian-silver-bison.htm
Looks good to me... better than the pronghorn. I will be getting one. An orca (or other whale) would have been nice as well.
That is awesome!!!! I can see this design being a big hit. I'm definitely getting multiples of this one.
I really wanted the milk spotted Owl , but this design is cool. I will get one to complete the series. TC
I signed up to get alerted via email when they become available at Provident. I'm not taking any chances, these things are going to be gone in a hurry. http://www.providentmetals.com/2013-canadian-wood-bison-wildlife-series-1-oz-9999-fine-silver.html
Milk Spottedd Owl... Hahahaha, Thats funny! I hadnt heard that one before. Hopefully RCM can keep these guys clean.
Thanks for the information, Dip. I like the design a lot and think it is a great way to end the series. I want to get at least 1 of them for sure. Now, if we can just get the folks at the U. S. Mint to do another wildlife series. I think they last did so about 10 years ago. It's time to do it again! They did this set in 2003: I'm not sure what kind of animal that is on the middle coin though.
It's kind of funny these things were just announced yesterday, I believe and somebody has them for pre-sale already on ebay. I hope they and the RCM are on the same page regarding release date.
these are now (as of yesterday) on presale from real bullion dealers (with a ship time of 2 weeks) *http://www.silbertresor.de/product_...ldlife-Serie-Bison--2013----1-Oz-Silber.html*, so seems the RCM release date agrees with the ebayers that already listed as presale
