Hi everyone, this is my first post to the forum...I have been brought here many times by searches, but now I've got something I can't seem to find any information on. I recently started collecting Walking Liberty half dollars, and somehow I ended up with 2 1918-s coins. I noticed that the mint marks are in slightly different locations, but I couldn't find any information on such a veriety. I've included a picture below...you can see that on one coin the S is definitely higher than the other. Can anyone give me any more info on this?

I don't know of any mm varieties for this coin but then I'm not a variety guy either. What I do know is that the mint marks were punched in by hand so it is not unusual for them to have slightly different placement on the coin.
