Awww yeah, the stars aligned and Petro gave up his hippie Eddie cent to me. Thanks petro! Also got a couple other misc coins today.
Aww man, it is nice with my pics below, but yours make it simply incredible! I think I need more lights, but I need them to be just off of the coin. It makes my pics look too "cartoonish".
Picked up this near ounce on eBay for spot price. And it was on buy it now. Not sure why but I quickly closed down his listing.
Nice pick-up and nice quote in your sig. I used that quote for a calligraphy project in high school and won awards with it.
the third coin to what is going to be my good to fine seated quarter set i hopefully will complete in ten years photos are the sellers, the reverse looks far better in hand. and this is a good example of how mintage sometimes has little effect on price. 43k minted
Holy smokes, a blast from the past! Those were some of the first toners I ever bought. Not to mention I was just starting to try and learn coin imaging. Here is a comparison of the old pictures, and the new ones. I think I got a little better.
No, you're still bad. Just kidding gbroke. You've got some beautiful coins and take some GREAT pictures! :thumb:
I will get a better photo up in a day or 2 that photo from the auction.saved on cell phone there its big but No here!!yet!
You know, I like the old images as much as the new. I wish I had two sets of images when I'm buying a coin on the net: one that shows the luster, and another that shows the complexity of the color.
