Picked up a few goodies at auction

Picked these up at auction last night. two 1995 DDO...hard to see in the pics but you might be able to. It's in the lettering in LIBERTY and IN GOD WE TRUST.

Nice pickups! I have one of the 1995 DDOs.

 

I actually have one of these too. That first one is really nice with the offcenter strike as well

 

Both of the DDOs together cost me $8....much cheaper than Ebay. My first DDOs and pretty cool.

 

arent they worth like $75?

 

I paid a lot more than that for mine.

 

I have been watching some on Ebay and they are not cheap. I was surprised I got the pair so cheap but am not complaining about it.

 

You paid $8 on eBay? I always thought the Liberty was more doubled than he pictures show. I don't own one but went to the coin shop the other day had 1995 DDO MS67 for $60. Actually they had 3 of them. I looked at all 3 with no loupe and I don't see te doubling. I guess I could be passing these up on the rolls I search.

Anyone want to point out where the DD is on either of the 95s? I see the L is a little messy on the second one. But I guess I'm looking for the wrong thing.

 

Not on Ebay but at a coin auction that is held once a month here a few miles from where I live. If you know what to look for you can see the ddo, especially with a loop or magnifying glass. I thought they'd go higher because they had a ton of people bidding online for the stuff as well as those at the auction.
