This coin has been on display in the ANA Museum for many years. I will miss seeing it.

Do they know for certain that only 5 were made, or do they think its possible there are others out there?

The possibility of more has always intrigued me, but I have doubts that more exist. All 5 known examples were kept and sold together for quite some time before being broken up and sold individually.

My guess is there are no more examples out there.....too famous of a coin worth millions of dollars. Im sure people have found good looking fakes and altered coins that were deemed to be fake/impaired.
