The Walton nickel is the most unimpressive of the 5. I've looked at all of them side by side and only one peaked my intresrt and my love is for Proof Liberty Nickels.

"Ryan Myers said a family attorney had heard of the famous 1913 Liberty nickels and asked if he could see the Walton. "He looked at it and he told me he'd give me $5,000 for it right there," he said, declining an offer he could not accept without his siblings' approval."

This article was posted on yahoo as well. The best comment in the comments section was:

"Please release the name of the attorney, so I know not to hire him, or even let him within 50 feet of me or anyone I care about." LOL!

Somewhere out there is an understanding wife who will not get upset when her husband informs her, "honey, look what I just got for a couple of million. They originally wanted $5 million".

Typical news article written by someone who doesn't know numismatics. So many things wrong in it.

Pretty amazing that the relative who perished in the car wreck saw his coins end up in the hands of his loved ones rather than the pockets of the first responders. How times have changed.
