1984 D lamination or cracked planchet error ?

I haven't come across one before like this so I thought I would ask. At first I thought lamination but then I realized or it appears to go all the through the coin as seen below the mint mark but it isn't on the rim. Everything I see talks about the rim crack on a cracked planchet. Any thought, opinions welcome, Thanks !
