Won this one on eBay yesterday from UrbanChemist. This is his pic. Got this one in the mail today from WingedLibery. Thanks WL this one will stay in my collection.
i really think i might attempt the almost impossible and put together a seated quarter set. i also think this might be the repunched date if anybody cares to look at the close up. http://www.cointalk.com/t219739/
yeah i was just going by the cherry pickers on ebay it is usually listed as 1845/5. i know nothing of varieties or fs 301 or snow 8 or any other letters and words people have put together which is why i started that other thread. and thanks for liking the coin!
Another Jackson token with some interesting repunched letters on the Reverse... Sorry, I don't have it yet and these pix are lousy. These are better...
This one took me about a month's worth of internet searching to find. It's a PCGS graded MS-65 1969 P. I purchased another one graded PCGS 65 from the same seller a day later. I'm not really a slab guy but will snatch them up for coins I know are difficult to find like this one. I got them both for what I believe was a steal. Here's another slabbed PCGS 65 I picked up because I couldn't for the life of me, locate any nice raw examples. Even this PCGS grade is very questionable IMO. Of all years, a GEM 1961-D is proving extremely difficult for me to locate. Bad luck or market shortage...? I'm trying to get to a level where I can photograph and share more coins. So far, these are the most indicative of the coins I can do (shot with my droid).
Back from robec -- he did an amazing job capturing these evasive colors! Picked up for $20 from teletrade. Under direct light:
I would not buy one of those unless it were certified. I have heard that there are a lot of these faked.
Picked these up on ebay tonight. The dime is ms66*ft and from kryptonitecomics. The quarter is ms66*.
Wow Tyler. Your imaging has gotten a lot better! As for grades, I'm always horrid at guessing morgans.
