Fish, you do know this is a halfpenny not a half cent right?! :)

There are a wide variety of Conder token designs available in uncirculated condition for roughly $100. This one could set you back almost twice that. Just another reason I've abandoned the US market.

Yeah, I know it's not a half cent. I just think the design is striking and fairly well-executed, plus I'm a curious SOB that can't help but wonder what every pretty li'l coin would cost. Especially the coppers. God help me, I don't know what it is about 'em.

    Drives the wife nuts. ;)

That is a very nice token.

That is a very nice 1/2d. token you've got there,Yarm. That London civic Coat-of-Arms is very clear.I don't know anything about Robert Orchard, apart from the fact that he was a traders' token issuer.

I still think that the Mexican 1910-13 "Cabalito" Peso is one of the prettiest coins I have ever seen.
I own a 1910 in VF condition and last Monday I saw an uncirculated 1910.

The French coins, take any time period and any metal and I feel they set the standard.
As for ancient coins I love gallic tribes 200 -100 BC.
The ancient Israel coins are among my collection as well so I guess I like them as well.

I just received a world coin lot in the mail yesterday that had 2 of the 100 francs coins. They are lovely!

I also think more modern French coins are very attractive.

Cucumbor, the British Gothic Crown is a very rare coin. The British Gothic Florin is an easy coin to get, except the 1849 'Godless' Florin & the 1851 (which was struck only in Proof).

    Aidan,
I know it's rare, but I like dreaming.
Of course, if I were considering buying one, it would probably be a florin. Actually I have already bid on a florin once, but didn't win...

    Most Beautiful Foreign Coins??

To me it's not a "foreign" coin ;-)
But it's still my favourite coin.

Probably one of the rarest of Korean coins, this is one of the neatest one I have seen:

Let's not ask about the price tag - it's not affordable. :(

For some folks the $65,000 price tag in Krause for that 1906 20 won (KM#1131) might be affordable (not me unfortunately), but with the rarity of that coin (2,506 minted in .900 gold - 16.6666g, AGW .4823 oz.), I doubt that it would go that cheaply at auction if one were to turn up looking for a new home.
