Looking to fill my empty spot for this coin, Im looking at fleabay for MS70 First Strike, over the last 6 months around 400.00-500.00. Not a problem with the price just thinking about is it a really a key coin to have. And was wondering about prices being stable or moving up for the future, Thanks, Jim

I don't understand these. Were there two different 2006-W minted? One as a single and one a set?

you could buy then seperate in a box & bag or as part of the 20th anniv set. I think the total was about 440k. my newest redbook is an '06.time to get a new one.lol

Larry, if you wanted the 20th Anniversary designation on all three coins, NGC (I don't know about PCGS) required that they be submitted in the unopened shipping container from the Mint because you could purchase the 2007-W Burnished SAE separately.

What I don't understand is why anyone would want to pay the ridiculous premium for "First Strike" or "Early Releases" because the coin could just as easily be the 10,000th struck. This whole scheme was dreamed up by some huckster like those on Coin Vault just to soak inexperienced customers for extra money. What a waste!
