Hello im new to coin talk and to paper money collecting. Recently i found this $1.00 year 2006 that was missing the word bank on the seal i was wondering if this was a common mistake or did i actually find something. Any info would b deeply appreciated. Thanks 2013-01-25_21-24-15_457.jpg

    IMO, it's a keeper. I don't know if there'd be a premium, though.

I find those occasionally. Sometimes the design between the words is filled in. I'm not sure why, but the Atlanta seal seems to be the one that this happens to. Not so much the other districts. Usually 2006 are the ones I've always found.

Make sure someone didn't black out the word.Check it with a 10x glass to be sure,
