    silentnviolent accumulator--selling--make an offer I can't refuse

Hi all. Haven't been buying lately, but always hunting! :) Found the $1 mixed ladder in change and got the $20 repeater when I cashed a paycheck. The $20 has some overinking where the 2 of "L12" is easily seen on the reverse. My first finds of either, for face! :)
    Just wanted to share.

Thank you very much! So close, I thought how cool a 1776 repeater would be! :thumb:

Aaaahhh. I knew sequential ladders had a bit of a premium, but I didn't know the same was true for "mixed ladders". I'm learning so much about paper currency this weekend! :)

they really don't have any extra value. true collectors only would go for full ladder notes. there are to many sub-types of notes that people make up, most of the time on ebay. they think it will bring in more value. i just don't see it. a ladder note is a ladder note. there isn't a mixed radar or mixed repeater. just my .02 :thumb:

I collect what I like. It may not be what YOU like, it doesn't make me any less of a "true collector." Most people who find such a note would probably throw it up on ebay.

Nicer ones DO command a premuim: http://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_nkw=mixed+ladder+note&_sacat=0&_odkw=&_osacat=119027&LH_Complete=1 every single day. See it?

Don't tell other people what to collect, or your two cents is worth a fraction of face value. :thumb:

I really want to do it right, so please tell me, what are the rules of being a "true collector"?
