My wife was at an estate sale and picked up a bunch 51 to be exact of the 1965 france coin set
all are in these long grey boxes
she paid 1000 for all less the silver content which i have deemed at about 1.05 Troy Oz per set and all set being UNC or PROOF

does anyone know mintage or value of these things most likely going in my sons safe deposit box but it sure was a cool Christmas present and for someone to be selling silver at less than 20.00 an OZ ?????????

No they didnt have anymore she bought the whole box full of the little grey boxes

i think i just put three pics one of the box, one of the whole set, and one of the two AG coinz

    any info appreciated
    best

A search of completed listings on Ebay shows them going from 6.28-40.00 in the past month.
Average going rate is around 30 bucks per set looks like.

Those are annual mint sets issued by the French mint from 1964 to 1997. The mintage I have listed in Gadoury (the French version of the Red Book) is 35,000. That is not the highest mintage for those sets but it is far from being the lowest.
