Are you trying to get around auction fee's? Hmm... Why not just have people submit their highest and best offer by email at a certain time?

He's talking about holding an auction for graded coins, where people would text their bids to his cell phone.

I like the idea, but why not just post the coins in the for sale section of the forum?

I have another hair brained idea. I want to make a tv with a built in microphone so that when you yell at the tv during sporting events, your wife won't be able to tell you to "shut up, they can't hear you" anymore. And there will be a speaker in every arena that will broadcast everybody yelling at the reffs. Million dollar idea.

Oh, how adorable. Someone who still believes that TVs don't have microphones hidden inside.

They have little cameras, too. The man is always watching you. Whether it is on or off. That's why I don't have a TV in my bedroom.

Jello, I enjoy your posts, and always understand what you are saying. - The problem with texting your bid in is that people have to really trust you. For example, if a coin was worth $50 and the highest bid texted in was $20; do you tell that person he won the auction or that they were outbid? I trust you, and have recently inquired about some of your coins; but lots of people would have to trust you because the "cell phone texting auction" would give you all the power. - Best way I see is to post good pictures in the Sale section of the forum and ask people to make you an offer.

Hey jello... I, for one, wasn't disrespecting you. It's just that most of the time I have no idea what you are trying to convey in your posts. Apparently, some of the younger members do. From now on I'll wait for the interpretation.

Jello, until recently, I was unaware of your situation. I sincerely apologize for any offensive comments I have made toward you in the past. I will be more sensitive in the future.
