I've had such a bad spell lately that I decided to go to the BoA near where I work and pick up a few rolls at lunch. $5 in cents - 3 wheats,2 canadian. $20 in nickels - 5 pre 60 including a decent 38. $75 in dollars - skunk. Still missing those 2 presidents. At least I got a bit of a fix until Thursday. Hopefully I don't get skunked again.

Just dumped for the first time at my new coin machine bank. The manager was very friendly and said that I could use the machine as much as I want. He happens to be a collector also.

I went to my pickup bank to get my box of halves that came in. Picked up a box of nickels while I was there also. She asked if I wanted another box of halves next week. I said yes I want one a week. She said ok that is no problem. She said by the way, I ordered you an extra box of halves this week if you want them. Talk about a friendly bank! She said that she will also tell all the tellers to save any halves, big dollar coins, and any odd coins for me to pick up. I'm excited, maybe something good will get dropped off for me since we are getting near the end of the month.

FWIW - even dump banks deserve goodies from time to time. You'd be amazed how cooperative tellers, managers are etc even if you have huge amounts of coin and fill up their machines if they remember the candy you brought them.

That's right today was my monthly give the tellers candy, best way to get them to like you be cute and charming and ask what candy is there favorite.

Don't hurt if all the tellers have a crush on you.

Dumping is always the hard part. I dump at a credit union that happens to like me (and they have a free machine), so it works out for me. At least you found a supplier of halves!
