can't speak about the grade but I think there is also a die crack on the reverse at 6 o'clock

  4. And on both sides of the shield. I'm far from an Indian collector, but I wouldn't mind owning that one!

It appears to be undergraded, mainly due to the blazing luster. I think it just deserves a CAC sticker.

There are a number of die cracks on the reverse.
A clash or gouge between the neck and lowest feather on the obverse?

I knew that there was something good about this coin. Would you pay the price for it?

If I had that much money, I would be willing to pay close to $600. 1894's are surprisingly scarce in grades above Fine, and finding one this nice is a real treat. One can only dream...

I think the price is maxed out for a 4. There is a large jump at 65 and if someone jumps in now, they are probably gonna take a shot at a resub attempt.

At first glance it does appear to be undergraded, however, it's tough to tell if the cheek is toned or if there's a bit of rub there. I suspect the latter and as such I will not question the grade.

Despite the description to the contrary, there also appears to be two spots on the top right of the obverse. Not sure if they are bad enough in-hand to limit the grade, but I did want to mention them as they typically factor into a coin in this grade.
