Love the Red book , for quick look ups of mintages and relative rarities , I get one every other year and it doesn't matter if I pick up a 2013 or a 1989 to look something up , the prices are relative .
I like the Red book. It's usually out of date by the time they print it because the price of silver has either gone up or down since it was printed, but it does give you a general idea of the value of things.
i like the red books that specialize on one coin. like just jefferson nickels or commeratives etc. those are the red books to get
Am I the only one who enjoys the write-ups in the redbook, even though I use Coin World as the most up-to-date print reference for prices?
Never did get a Red Book, there are plenty of online sources that states mintage numbers. And don't know about others, but I get Coinworld only for the articles which lately it seems are getting duller and duller.
