I have some profit shares on 2 accounts I need to spend. I'm looking for the best value. Below are my choices, I looked up the book value of each coin (estimated) as well. I have 2,204 shares on the one account and 2,509 shares on the other account. I want to spend them all. What should I pick on each account? Thanks. I have 2,204 shares I need to spend on my one account AND 2,509 shares I need to spend on my other account. The list above are my choices, each choice has the number of shares the item will cost me and the book value (an estimate of what the item is worth). I want to know what combination of items would be the best value? Example: 1945 Lincoln Head Cent - Average Circulated - 100 - $0.03 ----------- A 1945 Lincoln Head Cent would cost me 100 of my 2,204 shares.
Well, do you have any collecting interest in those coins? I would pick the ones that you like since we're only talking a few dollars. It's not like any of them are going to be a huge investment.
OHHH They are like points and they give you a catalog to spend these points! There isn't anything that valuable on the list. I would get a Buffalo and a Liberty Head Nickel. :welcome:BTW
Get the coins that interest you most. Since they are mostly low value coins, try and get the highest grade coins that you like the best. And, welcome to CoinTalk. You'll learn a lot here.
Also, "average circulated" usually means G4 or even AG3. Since the grade listings you posted go down to Very Good, I suspect the average circulated may be well worn and may also be problem coins.
