    Here is an overlay with your coin atop a 1927 10C. Alignment was done by the horizontal artifact on your 26 matched to the top of the 7. To me it does not appear as if this is anything more than an anomaly since what (I think) you believe to be the leg of the underlying 7 does not match in shape or form.

    I agree with BB4C, and also it ('7') is about 50% less in width than it should be ( not counting the time machine effect ). But quite interesting to see.

    weird to have the 6 over 7 instead of a bigger number over an earlier year.

    I'm stumped
