Indian Head Cents: Where these a good find? (1 of 3)

    definer definitely....! LOL

    I picked these up at the local coin club auction. I'm not a "cent" person but was a little intrigued by them. May or may not keep them in the collection. What do you folks think of them?

    Of the four the first is the best.

    From a collector's/value perspective: the second one has damage (appears to be corrosion). the third and fourth appear cleaned.

    They are neat coins and would look nice in an album.

    I love IHC's. Of the 4 the only one I recommend staying away from are the corroded ones. As it stands the first looks nice and a nice low grade set of IHC's like this is possible to put together, only the key and some semi-key dates being costly. Plus there are a lot of varieties you can look for - Rick Snows books on IHC's would be very helpful there. Enjoy.
