    Those coins look awesome....this is the first time I am dealing with nickels of any tone. I just so happened to be looking through the rest of my inherited collection and 2 nickels caught my eye. I am not sure what I am going to do with them, but they are really cool to look at!

    Toned nickles...

    Those are in my top 5 favorite things!

    In no particular order...

    Women
    Beer
    Tigers Baseball
    Toned nickles
    Potato Chips

    OK...the first 2 are in proper order. The other 3 are in no particular order lol. :)

    The other side is plain jane, two coins toned to black, and two others got something on them that made them tone unattractively. I sent you a PM.

    Hey all
    Been collecting toned nickels for a few years and getting a pretty good amount.
    Started as a way to show young collectors there is more to collecting than the finest (expensive) sets. For some reason most kids have a difficult time collecting silver 3 cent proofs!! Most I have paid is about 5 bucks (for some silver issues) and most have been found in junk bins for under a buck. Lowest grade is AU so they are pretty good quality. PWorking on a presentation to our local club sometime soon.
