Just kidding, Daniel Carr is up to his creativity once again. Now here's a tip for those of you who like his work. He has two different 90% Kennedy Half Dollars 1963's and then he's got some 40%, 1975's. Right now you can get the cheaper 90% Kennedy for $45 bucks instead of the $85 better ones, that's what I did. I'm sure it'll be alright but you may want to buy quickly, up to you or spend $85. :thumb: Oh btw. I didn't actually get mine yet, I mean I ordered but I still gotta wait for the delivery. http://www.dc-coin.com/fantasyover-struckusacoins.aspx
Yeah I'm thinking about getting one of the $85 dollar ones but this is the first batch so I want to see how the resale price goes. This Kennedy Half idea may turn out to be as popular as his 1964 Peace Dollars.
Personally, I do not think that you'll see ANY resale value until the coins are no longer available from Moonlight Mint. BTW, it appears that the "High-Grade" versions are outnumbering the "bag-handled" versions by a very wide margin. Of course, this could change.
We'll see what happens. Wouldn't it be something if Daniel Carr created a silver round that looked almost exactly like a Norfed but didn't have the verbiage? Just kidding and thinking out loud but I'd like to see him make a legitimate Mexican Coin, maybe a Mexican 8 Reales dated 2013 or a Cuauhtémoc. That would be sweet!!
Which doesn't take too long. Since his mintages are so low (a few hundred normally), they sell out rather quickly. A quick check of eBay shows the value of previous issues at 2X to 3X original sale price. Anyway, I purchased mine a few days ago and await its arrival.
I really like the 2011 Ameros, the 2012s are okay, but I really don't care for the 2013s. Will order the halves though and and kicking around the gold 10th oz.
I am glad I got it too. The 64 Frankie is elusive and I wisht I had pulled the trigger when I bought the quarter and the 1816 half.
