Agreed. It's a version of what many call a poor man's double die. Which is either the die was so over used that it started making poor strikes look like a double die. The other poor man's is where only the last digits the 55 are doubled. A true 55 double die all 4 number in the date are clearly separated from each other almost to the point of the date looking like 11995555 with one 1955 a touch higher and over to the right of the other one. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1955_doubled-die_cent
