1976 Proof Set vs. Silver Set?

    Hey guys, newbie coin collector here. I have one quick question. Do the coins (specifically the quarter, half, and dollar) in the standard 1976 proof set(The one that also has the nickle and penny) contain silver? I know there is a silver set of 3 coins but I do not want to get it if the standard set also contains silver coins. Thanks

    Welcome, Matt.

    No, the standard 6 coin proof set from 1976 does not include any silver-clad coins.
