There has to be a coin club in one of the big cities near you. Look in the yellow pages or ask some coin dealers if they know about a coin club. Most coin clubs hold one or two shows a year and you don't have to be a member to attend any of their shows.

Have you tried just typing in coin shows and your state for finding stuff on the web? I did here and there are to many for anyone to attend all the time. We have one almost every weekend around here somewhere. Not sure if North Carolina is recognized yet as a state though.:p :smile
Then there is always the smart thing and move to a great place like Illinois.

Hey Foster. Numismatic News has a pretty huge listing of coin shows in each state. My last issue states the following for North Carolina:
Oct. 13-15, Goldsboro. 1st anual Wayne cty. Coin Club Show. Quality Inn, Wayne Memorial Dr. off 70E.

Oct. 14 Albermale. Stanly Cty. Coin CLub Show. Senior Center, 283 N. 3rd St.

Oct. 14-15 Burlington. Heart of Carolinas Coin Show. Best Western Hotel and Convention Center. 770 Huffman Mill RD.

Oct. 21-22 Wilmington. Lower Cape Fear Coin Club Fall Show. American Legion Hall, 702 Pine Grove Dr.

Oct. 28-29 Statesville. 11th Annual Iridell-Statesville CoinClub Show. Civic Center, 300 S. Center St.

Nov. 11-12 Raleigh. Carolina Coin and Stamp Show. State Fairgrounds-Holshouser Bldg. Hillsboro St. and Blue Ridge road.

Dec. 2 Fayetville. Cape Fear Coin Club Show. Honeycutt Rec. Ctr. Ft. Bragg Rd. & Devers St.

Hope this helps. I would make some calls, just to make sure those are all correct. The ones at convention centers and civic centers sound like the larger ones to me. And, buy the way, I left out the part about cost of admission, because according to this, those are all free shows.
