heres the 1955 us cent im not sure what to call this

    It would be help if you could tell us what you are seeing. Looks like a case of die deterioration doubling.
    keep up the hunt.

    Agreed. It's a version of what many call a poor man's double die. Which is either the die was so over used that it started making poor strikes look like a double die. The other poor man's is where only the last digits the 55 are doubled. A true 55 double die all 4 number in the date are clearly separated from each other almost to the point of the date looking like 11995555 with one 1955 a touch higher and over to the right of the other one.

    These are called "Lincoln Wheat Ears Reverse Cents", or in short, "Wheat Cents".
