It seems every morning, Tim awakens with the thought 'how can I beat the system today?'.

 

I don't have time to educate you Detecto, since you won't listen.
I'd rather put toothpicks under my toenails and kick a wall.

But, here are some quick facts.

-Envelopes and old albums have very little to do with toning. I have state and Wash quarters, Kennedys, Ikes, and other modern coins in new Dansco's that have toned, and many old silver coins in envelopes for 30 years (from my dad), that didn't tone at all.
-Environment has everything to do with toning.
-Desirable toning is only desirable on lustrous coins, for the most part.
-99 out of 100 coins you actually get to tone will not be attractive toning, regardless how long it takes. You can tone any coin a gold color in minutes. That's why gold toning adds no premium
-The 1 out of 100 you actually get to tone somewhat attractively, is not guaranteed to make it into a slab.
-Artificial and Natural toning has little to do with "Market Acceptable" toning.
-You will ruin a lot of coins.

Deal with it.

So, which is it Detecto? You ask how to speed it up, now you don't want to necessarily speed it up. And you're worried that it could come back A/T from a TPG. Only those who would worry about a thing could admit what they're doing is creating artificial toned coins.. You are just full of contradictions are you? You flip flop and can't remember what you said that's actually recorded on a website 5 minutes ago. That's just sad!
