I have made a post about this coin before, but I couldn't get the pictures of better quailty. I have been experimenting a bit. I am really hoping these pictures are better. I was doing some research on the markings of a true doubled die, such as looking for serifs on the corners and horizontal notching. I am also see on this coin that it doesn't appear to have the smash shelf look, it is more rounded.

The "O" in ONE is very rounded and nice. The entire reverse shows the same sherifs and notiching. I am a novious and would love any opinion offered. I appreciate you all looking at this for me.

    Thank you
    Penny

For whatever reason, I can't seem to enlarge your photos. I am not seeing any evidence of a doubled die. Machine doubling was very common in 1972, but I also can not rule out die deterioration doubling. I am not seeing any notching or separation lines, so unfortunately, I don't think you have one.
    Keep up the hunt!
