Anyone notice a difference between the rolled and bagged quarters. My rolled coins appear somewhat satiny and the bagged ones appear very shiny or brilliant. But, I haven’t opened enough of them to say one way or the other that there’s a difference.
No I did not ,but I learned my lesson when they found those sacagewea mules and I tore four boxes of mint rolls open looking for one.
If you can, don't wait too long to turn them over. After a few years the demand will likely decrease and they'll probably sit and gather dust like all the clad stuff from the 70's and 80's. Just because something is scarce doesn't necessarily mean it's desirable.
This is as good an answer as any. Back when the 2009 DDR Duke Ellington Quarter was found in a roll, I loaded up but did not sell a single roll at my $18.95 asking price. I couldn't sell them at $14.95 so.......they went back to the bank.
Amazing! I loaded up on Wisconsins, not 1 extra leaf found. You ever see one of the DDR Dukes (the good one) for sale?
I cannot find any links but have sent the discoverer a PM over on the PCGS Message Boards. He should know. Of course, if it was eBay, the links are long gone.
Thanks. Over the last few years, I've searched many times on eBay and the Net, but nothing for sale. If memory serves, wasn't "the good one" Wexler WDDR-001?
