Can't tell if the first coin is PMD from soldering or if it is a CUD.
the second coin is a large elongated plating bubble. Not a real error.
    keep up the hunt!

  5. Thanks non cents,, I have a couple dimes here also...the one being mis-aligned, the 2nd mis-aligned & the edge is really thin...any input on value of these? 007.JPG 006.JPG 009.jpg

The dimes are misaligned errors. Not sure aout the differences in thickness.

Hi the abe looks like a cud or die break but I'm leaning more toward zinc rot... the other coin is a after mint damage its solder... it was a peice of coin art / jewelry

A cud is a die break that is connected to the rim, so it can't be a cud. It does not have the look of a die break. I am almost nearly positive it is a plating bubble.

I agree, zinc plating gas bubbled.
Its still a pretty cool coin.
I aslo think that cud is lead solder due to resemble an error.

the dime with no reeded edge is not a misaligned die but is actually a broadstrike.

I agree with the gas bubble(s) on the Lincoln and the Cinco Centavos, IMO, is solder as the edges of the affected area do not say Die Break to me.

More than likely the piece was used as some type of pin as there is another disruption of the coins surface directly across from the solder.

  15. Hey thanks for all the input,,, can you explain 'broadstrike', & does this add value? If so how much? & thanks again!
