Hey guys, I was wondering if any of the vammers out there could help me out with an aproximate value for an 1884 vam 3 (large dot) Morgan graded MS-63 by PCGS. I have found several XF and AU examples in completed auction listings, but have been unable to find any PCGS graded 63's. Any and all help is appreciated! Thanks, Tom
I'm kinda in the same boat you are. I've got several different VAMs but they are only worth what someone will pay for them ;-/ You best bet is to check the completed auctions on various sites like eBay, etc. Goode Luck Ben
That's what I have been trying to do, but without much success. I have seen AU coins sell in the $100.00 range, and I know of a single MS-65 which sold for $750.00. This would lead me hazard a guess of between $250.00 and $400.00, but those numbers have no basis in fact. Also, this coin has a fairly low pop in MS, so not too many examles come up for auction.
