I just re-imaged this one for my website. It looks a lot better than my poor photography skills can show.
Some of my toned coins that Robec has imaged for me. hope you enjoy. Picked this one up with 6 others in a Capital Holder for $11.00 WingedLiberty gave me these two Purchased this one from Caz Purchased these two from CoinDex
That 64 is a beautiful addition to my collection. When I recieved it I was shocked that Winged sent it too me. My plan is to get my Lincoln Toned Proof set together and then submit them for grading but I am not sure yet. I love being able to see then and hold them. I am very greatful that Winged chose me to recieve these 2 proofs.
Looks suspicious. I've perused a thousand Kennedys and the clads don't tone like that. Either that or the saturation in the pic's been tweaked.
oh.. common now.. thousands you say ? haha. How about checking ebay quickly and do a quick check of 20 or 30. Took me 2 minutes to find one... Paruse a few thousand more ; ) http://www.ebay.com/itm/1972-NGC-PF65-Gem-Rainbow-Toned-Proof-Kennedy-Half-Dollar-/330854636657?pt=Coins_US_Individual&hash=item4d08791c71
Here's a flash shot.. last one was diffused light, which always amplifies color imo,, or at least represents in much more detail than flash... the in hand truth is somewhere in between both shots.
That's a better pic - that's more what they look like in hand when they tone. Greattoning does something with his lighting and pics to make the colors pop in a way that looks artificial. He even marks them "direct light", whatever that means. The fact that that Kennedy is in an NGC slab doesn't matter - TPGs can get it wrong too.
Do you see the multicolored dots appearing on the slab? That indicates that those pics are severely messed with.
