Sorry if I have been cranky the past few days--surgery is Thursday, and there are a few options that I have been discussing with the doctor. Too young for a knee replacement, and too old to deal with the pain, so he's gonna do what he can with the arthroscope. Also, one of my pretty good friends was just sent to hospice, as he has heart problems and failing kidneys, and declines further treatment. So, I have been beyond moody--however, if I do think a coin is fake, I shall say so and give illustrative examples, no matter how much debate that incurs. That is how we all learn. Doug, sorry your knees are shot--Osteoarthritis is really a nasty thing, and I hope you feel better. Be more coherent at the end of the week---M'dude.
Knees are shot alright, so are my shoulders & hips, but my back is the worst. That's what gives me the problem with standing. I've dealt with pain my whole life, kinda just learned to deal with it. But for last several years heart problems keep me from walking more than short distances without resting. That's what really did me in.
PS -- While pain killers may help your comfort levels, you might not like the coins you find you purchased when you get back home...narcotics and shopping don't mix. Hope you feel better soon.
