Just picked these gem beauties and I thought I would share. Would love to hear anyone's thoughts on what they would grade out at, and your opinions regarding their eye appeal. Much thanks as always!
Very nice coins! And that comes from someone who doesn't normally like toned proofs because of the usual haze. Your 59-P looks fresh from a mint set.....my favorites! I'd call it MS-66 as I don't see any contact marks what so ever, but know that something is probably lurking. Grading MS coins from pics is hard... proofs near impossible.
I love toned silver Roosies and I think they're beautiful. The 58 is a proof and would probably be a 66 or 67. The 59 has the classic mint set blue toning. It has a lot of rim dings, and I dont know if I'm seeing wear on the high points on the obverse or not. It could just be the pics. If it is fresh from a mint set its probably a 63-64. But I think it might have been around town once or twice.. its probably a 58. I like both though!
Much Thanks for great comments! And yes the proof is really quite incredible... the toning right above Roosevelt's head is the most stunning deep blue color.
