I don't like it. I don't recall ever seeing one with such a high relief.

To my untrained eye, it don't look real. Plus the price seems way too low

Not saying this is the same, I've seen restrikes of this coin currently owned by "coinsarefun". She gave a little info about them once before, which I'll paste below:

"1788-Dated Massachusetts Coinage Restrikes by Evans. Breen-972. According to Walter Breen,
these were struck sometime after WWII by Springfield, Massachusetts coin dealer Henry Evans.
Examples are scarcely seen and seldom offered at auction".

If it were real it would be in a museum, not grandpa's coin jar.

While it doesn't look real, just because it's only at $10 doesnt mean its going to stay there. As a fellow American who lists coins and such on Feebay, I've plenty of times listed multi hundred dollar coins at a start of $0.99 because it's cheaper to list than starting them at their full retail value

I agree it matches the Evans copy posted by Travlntiques. I have compared it to about a dozen different varieties of genuine Mass cents and it does not match any of them. I would say it has better than a 95% chance of being fake.
