hello all, i have gone through mint sets and proof sets for about a year and have nearly complete the Ike book. Only vacancies left being: 1971 p 1971 d 1971 40% unc 1972 p 1972 d 1972 40% unc I am reasonably certain the silvers will not be much of a problem, they seem more common so saved for later. Now for the business strikes. Not having the option of surveying mint sets what would be the best route for attaining these in a nice mint state? No LCS to speak of. Thanks for any and all input Walter
My suggestion is Dave's Coins, on eBay. I've made several purchases from him for my Dansco Kennedy's, and I haven't been disappointed. He's got so much of the clad stuff from mint sets in bulk, that he can afford to sell cheaper, and he combines shipping - and anything over 50 is free shipping. Lots of BINs also. You've got four pages of Ike's here... http://www.ebay.com/sch/m.html?_odkw=&_osacat=0&_armrs=1&_ssn=davenders&_trksid=p2046732.m570.l1313&_nkw=eisenhower&_sacat=0&_from=R40
