I found a 14k gold diamond earring in mine today. I couldn't believe it. Weighs 2 grams.

I found a 1944 Washington quarter two days ago while dumping some zinc cents in a coin star reject slot.

Went to dump some coins first thing morning when the bank opened. Figured the reject tube would've been clean out this weekend and would be empty. I checked the slot and there was a 43 D steel wheat. I haven't been able to find any steels roll searching so far, so this was a very pleasant surprise.

When hunting reject tubes...are you all talking about just seeing something lying in the tube or are you actually sticking your hand up into the tube (as if the coin is stuck)???

Usually it is there in the reject bin. No one seems to have the time to pick up their coin after they are done, especially if it is a dime or two, and certainly if it is foreign.

    '71 Swiss half Franc.

First time using coinstar I scored $102 from spare change but no finds outside of that. The money will go to fund some roll hunting soon though.
