First year Lincoln was on the penny

    Does anyone know what year Lincoln first appeared on the penny?

    I think the first year was 1909

    His is worth quite alot in that condition, but a common one in normal condition is worth a couple of dollars, unless it has an "S" underneath the date, then it can be quite valuable even in lower grades.
