    I thought it was a 67, but figured that there were some hidden marks, so I dropped my vote down to 66. Beautiful coin though, and you might want to consider giving it to me, because I am a licensed disposer of such illegally high grade coins. :devil:

    Super strike, nice luster, and I can only mange to find one little nick and that nick is between the wheat stem and the rim where it pretty much does not count. This is one where I need to follow my own advice. In hand with a loupe, you can see several tiny brownish streaks. Without the loupe, it looks all red. Anyway, as most of you guess, NGC gave this a 67. I might be a bit marginal, but I have to agree with them.

    BTW, this is now the highest point coin in my collection on the NGC registry.

    Irish2Ice widened his lead this week. ldhair and Leadfoot switched positions last week. So, this week they switched back.

    I agree that 67 is a bit marginal. but it pulled it off congrats

    2 right and 6th place , I'll take it any day . Dick I don't see why this is a marginal 67 , From the pics it looks solid to me .

    You are correct. From those pictures, it does not look marginal. And, in hand you might see something was going on (or might not). It is not until you look at it with a loupe that you see what I am talking about.
