Grade this Morgan

Here is my new 1904 New Orleans Morgan, Just wanted to see what everyone thought as to the grade. Then I am going to send it in and see what it does at the graders. thanks Tom

Either a AU-58 or an MS-63. Nice coin

tdec,how are we supposed to know which coin is which if you posted two different 1904 Morgans?

 

I think it is the same dollar

 

Look in both the obverse pics under the hair.The last pic has two scratches.

 

Also there's a rather large mark on the cheek on the first picture.

Same coin,different lighting.Look at the dark scratch under and between the UM in UNUM.Nuff said.

 

It is the same dollar just a picture taken at different angles. The picture didn't turn out as I would have hoped. I took the picture of the coin under the plastic flip.

 

I would agree that it is a MS 63.

 

Nice coin! It looks like a slider BU to me--somewhere between AU55 and MS62.
