Canadian pennies

    Realistically, what do you see a roll of canadian pennies ever being worth?

    I would think these are going to be primarily bullion products with high grade specimens gaining value much past our lifetime....

    I think Mint BU original rolls will be worth keeping but saving the more recent pennies in circulated condition won't really be worth the effort.

    According to coinflation a roll of 98% copper Canadian pennies is worth $1.25.

    Actually, the only canadian pennies that were 95% copper are from the late 1850's. the more modern ones are 98% copper (1942-1996 if I remember correctly)
